Xenforo 2 to 3 years behind vB??

I've been thinking and thinking for a long time now to go for a change over from vB to Xenforo but just can't do it, my Forum is so highly customised, with VBSEO and a whole load of mods installed.
Maybe one day I will.
Then may as well do it now, because vB is going nowhere and Xenforo is just getting better and better.
At the end of October, I took AVForums from vB 3.8.2 with vBSEO to Xenforo. Jake Bunce helped with the migration, in particular with addon data such as user notes (into a user notes addon) and iTrader stats (into XenCentral Trader). He also managed the URL redirection which he regarded as easy.
I found a lot of the addons we needed were available or fairly quickly coded by skilled and friendly coders in this community.
My honest advice based on my experience of moving a 19 million post forum over, would be not to wait.

I run vbulletin 3 with 110 addons and I customized vb templates for many years. The members on my big board would start a riot like never before if I would migrate without offering them the essential functionality. But I am working on my migration and will make the jump in coming months.
The XF addon community is thriving. You can have any function you want. Even if its not included in the core yet.

@Stuart Wright Do you have any idea's why your showcase isn't growing? Just out of curiosity?

I'm also planning to move my vB 4.2.2. forums to XenForo. I'm doing latest tests and I'm really happy with the software so far. Hopefully my members are going to appreciate the showcase option. I have currently about 3 million posts, and only 4 add-ons so far :)

From experience, I would concentrate on getting the forums across ok. If you have a real relevant use for the Showcase addon, then go for it. But given my struggles to get interest in Showcases, I think I need a way to encourage members to use the addon more.

If you don't already have a "Review" add-on, have you thought about modifying it to fit that need?

here's a fact, vbulletin is a slow ugly cheaply coded pile of crap I never want to see again. I used it for a decade. How can xenforo be behind, apart from sales? I don't consider SEO mods, or any mods, for that matter as something I judge the core product on.
