Xenforo 2.1 upgrade question

I just upgraded my xenforo to the recent one but I can't see any changes. The reaction and smilie didn't change. I thought this was supposed to change automatically?

The site listed on your license appears to be running XF 2.0.12 which is certainly the most recent stable version of XF.

XF 2.1 is still in beta and it isn't recommended to upgrade to it until it is stable.

Honestly, I don't understand what the stable means.. how can I make it stable?

XenForo 2.1 is currently only available for testing and shouldn't be used on live sites. My suggestion would be to wait until it is officially released before upgrading to it.
