@XCentral - Will this be updated to work with the new tags system in XF 1.5? If so, any ETA?

Yes, we are implementing basic support for tags. This is a basic support, as it will work only in 3 locations - tags not available for the domain will not be suggested, if a thread is tagged with a tag not available in current domain it will not be shown on thread's page, and tag cloud will not show the tags not selected for the current domain. Using of system will make sense only if tags can be added by admins, otherwise, if users can create tags, the tags they create will not be available under the current domain as well, causing misunderstanding and unexpected behavior.

You can override this option just like any other XenForo option.

Does this addon support different google analytic headers so if I add two domains I could do different tracking on each of them?

Just override the option Google Analytics Web Property ID and set the new ID for the second domain.

Few suggestions and adjustments:

Add a unique ID or class to the HTML element for per-site CSS declarations. While there's the content replacement feature, it doesn't always make sense to use that.

For similar reasons as above, please add a template conditional for adding per-site content. For advance changes to a design it's going to be easier to use a conditional than do a replacement each time it is needed.

Make the user title ladder per-site. I don't know how difficult this is, but it would be useful for sites that actually make user of the user title ladder.

Change display order and visibility of forums per site. Because of an issue when displaying nested categories I had to move the lowest level category to the forum list root and show it at the bottom of the list. Being able to change the display order, and adjust visibility per node would be useful for sites with a lot of forums.

Turn the logo into a dropdown with links to the other sites. I've included a screenshot and code of what I've done below.

This is the next release of XenCentral Multisite System, that fixes the support for new/recent post search. A new option is added to enable/disable site specific New Posts/Recent Posts search. The option is disabled by default, so the results will contain posts from all domains.

All licensed customers can download the latest package from their Client's Area.

@XCentral I can't download this or any other addon latest version.. It is telling me my license is expired and I need to renew, but when purchased, there was never a mention of renew fees, I have owned a copy over 2 years now and didn't have to renew before this and in the billing area, it even shows it never expires. Please fix the issue I'm having. As you can see below. all four show active, say one time fee and none have a next due date.

This only seemed to happen after you upgraded to latest WHMCS.

Bump as you have released more updates of other addons since my post but have not addressed this issue yet.

  1. Tickets by PixelExit: (set categories per domain)
  2. Article Management System (same integration as ShowCase)
 

So you make this change without even telling your customers? When was a e-mail sent out notifing us to a change in your product agreement? When we purchased these addons.. It was under a one time fee. To this day, there still is no mention of any sort of renew fees. Either a grandfather for current customers or at least some sort of extension should be given. Not just flip the switch over night. This is very shady, I regret recommending your products to my clients now, I know a lot of my clients have purchased add-ons from you due to it too. I would expect these types of shannagains from someone like *******, but I thought you were more professional then this... Gosh was I wrong!

Even in the billing area.. It says Billing cycle "One Time" and Next Due Date "-"

We just replied to you support ticket. The announcement is not about policy change. Yearly support/updates policy works from the date of addons' release. We sent emails to every customer after the first year of purchase with invoices to pay for yearly subscription and most of our customers did pay them. However, the customers who didn't pay the invoices were still able to download the latest releases of add-ons and get support as a result of the issue mentioned in announcement, so they had more than enough time to pay the outstanding invoices. We just fixed the problem of automatic suspension of add-ons support/updates subscription for which the invoices were not paid. Regarding the Active status of add-ons in your account, yes they are active as licenses are lifetime, but if you enter add-on's page you'll see yearly subscription renewal time and status.

No where in the RM's product description does it mention there is a yearly subscription fee, nor is their any mention of it on your checkout page in WHMCS. Also for your own product page as a customer to show your license billing cycle as One Time and a renew date as " - " (normally which means never) is very misleading to say the least. Furthermore without renewing, you can't even download versions of the add-on from before this was suddenly put into place and enforced. I guess it just is what it is though..

The mentioned invoices were also canceled shortly after they were generated, making it seem it was an error in WHMCS and then corrected. Once again re-enforcing the idea that your products are a one time fee, just like they state they are... Why would
my invoices be canceled and my client area show "no unpaid invoices at this time" if this supposed subscription system was in place from the start. Further more, these invoices were generated in 2014, yet I could still download updates until at least, June 22nd 2015 as I'm currently using 1.5.5.2 - rev62 and hadn't tried to download and update since then til this week.

We see the issue with old versions not being possible to download for customers who didn't renew their license. We will work on this and at least make the latest versions available right now for everyone even with licenses expired long ago. We are checking other issues highlighted as well, especially the fact the invoices were cancelled which shouldn't be the case. We will update in the ticket soon.

When can we expect this to happen? I just tried, but I still receive "Your Support & Updates period for this license has expired" trying to download latest version.

Uploading a package usual way doesn't allow this, as it takes into account when the package is uploaded. We are looking for ways to overcome this limitation. We will update here once this is done. It should be within 24 hours.

Personally I think the best and most ethical resolution to all this would be grandfathering current license holders to a continued one time price, as it appeared what these products where when we purchased them. Update your product descriptions in the Resource Manager to state there is a yearly subscription fee for continued support and upgrading. As currently there is no mention of it, making it appear the product is a one time purchase. Then only charge the renew fees for any new licenses purchased, grandfathering current license holders from this fee.
 
@Mike Edge To clarify again. Support/updates renewal information is available and always displayed in product page, starting date and end date. Also as has been mentioned we send support/updates renewal invoices to all customers, so customers are informed about the subscription status. All invoices clearly state that they are for support/updates yearly renewal. Unfortunately, we can not make latest versions available to all customers, regardless their subscription status, because most of customers paid for renewal of their subscriptions and we can not make the same product free for all. And again, we subscription information is available in add-ons page, in products' descriptions on http://xencentral.com and it is in force starting from products release dates. Nothing is changed now. Regarding the older versions of add-ons that were released in the time when currently suspended subscriptions were active, we'll work on this and will update the status on our announcement page. If you need any exact old version contact our support and we'll send it. Thank you!

You can't even keep your own stories straight at this point.

It is in no way shape or form that you changed from a one time billing to a yearly subscription and now suddenly claiming invoices that were generated and then shortly after canceled the clients fault. Your just trying to make even more money off us with these stealth changes your pretending were always in place. Please show me here https://xenforo.com/community/resources/xencentral-multisite-system.2278/ or even here https://customers.dnf.technology/cart.php?a=confproduct&i=1 of any mention that the product is valid for one year, after so a yearly subscription is required for updates..

I'm done.. your nothing but a scam.. I am uninstalling your add-ons and assure you I will not ever recommend your products to my clients in the future and be sure to make them well aware of your unethical business. You can't even hold to your word you said one hour ago to try to make good to clients upset by this.. Please don't bother even with another reply with lies or broken promise.. good riddance...
