Wordpress Importer to Xenforo

It would be very interesting if the Xenforo importer could import data from Wordpress, just like Invision does.

Import posts, members (and associate Wordpress members with already registered Xenforo members to assign posts) and comments.

This would allow someone who already has Wordpress to make a complete migration to Xenforo.

Unfortunately that option isn't available since Invision Community imports WordPress posts into Invision's Databases and not forums. So Xenforo won't import them.

I've done several WP to Xenforo imports, including several WP forum plug-ins, and add-on imports such as WP posts to AMS. Coincidently, I'm doing a WP Posts to AMS this week, with custom coding to support WP image captions. I hate the WordPress database schema!

Same here...
I currently run a hybrid of WP and XF with some integration elements and I am over it at this point.
XF is fairly fast software and I am ready to port my entire WP catalog into XF.

If anyone has experience and want to take on the job please contact me.

I wonder how hard it would be to simply import WP posts over to XF as new threads. No WP pages, no comments, no users to import (as I'm the only user). I don't know if there is a way to do this with RSS. It's small and low budget so I'm trying to find a way to DIY it.

Thank goodness I never used BBPress. But I did convert a BBPress forum for a friend, by using vB's importer first, then vB to XF. Good times. (Not!
 )

I don't think a WordPress site has thousands and thousands of posts, so I guess you could create the posts by hand wouldn't that be easier?

I have a couple hundred. One pain with WP is that I think it saves all the revisions of a post, so doing it via the database seems like it would be painful. If a post was revised a few times before publication and edited a few times after, I believe every one of those is still in the WP database. And we wouldn't want several versions of the same post to become XF threads.

For two other blogs I'm moving to XF, it is easier to copy and paste everything due to having less content. For one of them, I have a couple dozen WP "pages" that I'm probably going to have to post as threads also. It's not worth buying an add-on for those.
