I think Internet Brands made Windows 8.Wish there was a button to make Windows 8 kill itself and revive itself as Windows 7.

I can't create a restore point from the System Restore Applet.
I have to go to System Properties.
That's how I found it.Are you using metro? Searching 'system restore' gives you 'create a restore point' under settings
Exactly.But overall, backup in Windows 8 seems like a jumble of disconnected functionalities, resulting in the whole thing being less than the sum of its parts.
