View thread content permissions & Google

If I set "View thread content" of unregistered users to "no" will this also stop Google listing the content?

A tip I tell my staff: Log out of the forum. Browse whatever you can see. This is what can be crawled by Google, Bing, etc. (They often have members worrying about members-only sections appearing publicly.)

Depends what you hide.

It can hurt if you place ads in places that google doesn't see. Disable ads for this places (like mod and admin discussion forums, etc).

But, you may want to have some places reserved only for registered users. It depends what you want to achieve. I also think that you can create special user for Google, but didn't bothered too much hot to set this up.
