Lack of interest User ability to mark forums 'read' based on session

Found this, and saw it's not actually supported in XF:

After migrating to XF a few days ago from VB, this has been one of the biggest complaints from our userbase - indeed, I've been running into it too as I never explicitly say 'read' (and instead just want to see new content from when I last visited)

This apparently isn't a built-in feature yet, but I wish it was. If not automatic like VB, at least as a user option.

The Read Marking Data Lifetime option would work for this. Just lower the number of days.

The new posts link does this then when you've seen all new threads it gives you a disclaimer saying "these threads have not been changed since your last visit but still contain unread posts"
