MG 2.3 Upgraded to 2.3, now my media gallery shows broken images?

I upgraded my site to 2.3.2, after doing a test run on a test forum, it worked fine on the test forum but now on the live forum my media gallery shows broken media when i try to view it?

How can I fix this?

Edited Post: Things I've tried:
1) Rebuild media items cache (and every cache to do with the media gallery)
2) Rebuild Media Gallery add-on
3) Re-upload the files (3 times now)
4) Disable ALL add-ons except for Media Gallery to see if it was clashing with another add-on.

I did a clean forum install on a test site with just the forum and media gallery and that seems to work....it's a bit janky but it does work....although the domain name is completely different.....I'm not sure if it has something to do with that (I don't see how?)

Any help is appreciated......

hmm can you try uninstalling s9e embed?
Disabling it doesn't seem to be enough to revert to default youtube embed. (If you go to admin.php?bb-code-media-sites/ and open youtube, it probably still has s9e stuff in it)

How do I fix that if that's the case?

Tools > Rebuild Cache?

I'll try that.....


Edit: Just did it.....no dice. :-( Still busted. :(

I noticed the only "Approved sites" after the upgrade is Apple Music, so Youtube and other sites are now not listed there, how do I fix this, if I even can?

I just noticed the only embed 'approved sites' is apple music, as you can see here:

Which I believe is why my other things are now broken. How do I fix this? Can I even fix this? please advise.....I haven't changed any settings prior to upgrading so I'm not sure what changed unless something within the 2.3.2 version of XFMG changed itself?

Looking to embed Youtube, Twitch vods and Tiktok.....please advise.

Apparently the issue (according to @AndyB) has to do with lightbox? I haven't touched or changed anything so I don't know what the issue can be? Does anyone know how I can go about fixing this issue? So far it's only the media gallery giving me problems, I have a lot of content embedded into it though and don't want to have to re-install it I tried rebuilding the cache for the media gallery and such, nothing has worked.

Please advise......

I set up a new forum, clean install on a different domain, and everything is working fine in the media gallery, 'allowed sites' shows a lot more than just 'apple music'

Really baffled......I got it working at first on my site but then it broke again out of nowhere.....

Am i the only one seeing just a white box when I view the media?

I tried disabling all add-ons except media gallery and it still didn't work so i'm at a total loss here as to why it's doing it on my forum but not on any other on my hosting......

Videos work if you click them through the "Trending content" block, just not directly from the Media page.....

Yes I did. Re-uploaded the files and rebuilt the add-on, still the same result :(.


It works on other forums on my host, just different domains, one on 2.2.26 and the other on 2.3.2, but for some reason my upgraded forum from 2.2.26 to 2.3.2 broke lightbox.

I'm thinking that this error might be a bug with media gallery itself. Same error appears on the console when trying to view video on XenForo.com's media gallery (even tho it does load the video)

Almost all of the videos on Revillution are embedded youtube videos, which don't seem to work at all on your site.

That apparently fixed it. :-)

Before we get too excited, can someone else check for me and make sure it's working?
