Heh.. I started to reply to you.. and started it with "You know". . then realised what I'd typed.

@Carlos, taking what Mike said and going further with it - people get into a habit of starting sentences with the same words. I often find myself, when on a posting spree, suddenly starting every post with the same things - "So" is a prime one, along with "Anyway". You have to focus on the words you're using and start using a bit of variety in the starting sentences. It's hard, because certain phrases become a habit, but with time and practice, it can be done

I went back into a thread I made about the history of my site and I had to edit almost every other sentence bc it was "So then[...]" or either of those words as the first word of the sentence. I felt embarrassed since the thread has been up since 2007 with additions to the thread over the years. I just didn't re-read or edit the entire post lol

Some habits are hard to break. Luckily, I got out of those habits somehow and now I notice them popping up in all my old postings.

Are you still using the site? Zero fresh content. Not sure how you are expecting others to be interested in joining.

At this point, you might want to lower the amount of forums you have and expand once you get material up.

Anyhow, update: I moved UnrealTournamentForums.com and all of my sites to a new server with these specs...

2GHz CPU (2x Cores)
2GB RAM
25GB Disk
5k Bandwidth
And a fast 1Gbps uplink port

Spammers hit my site:

I contained it, deleted it, and added more spam prevention.
Shortly thereafter I upgraded to 1.4.0, then 1.4.1.
I then upgraded the skin.
I also took the time to post new threads.

Actually, that looks more like a VPS instead of a server.

A server would be more along the lines of
Dual Xeon L5620 processors
96GB RAM
8x1TB SATA in RAID 10
10TB bandwidth

And I sure as heck hope you mean more than 5k bandwidth.

No one said anything negative to you. Tracy pointed out your new set up sounded like a VPS and based on your config you posted, I agreed it did. As Lisa stated, this is a Critiques forum.. You should expect positive and negative Critiques to happen.

You are so bitter that I left your server, that's why you're calling my server a cookie cutter VPS setup. @Tracy Perry is just trying to get your post, so he can hurt me. Just like you and @Azhria Lilu. There's something I notice, the three of you, along with Sheldon are all ganging up just for the hell of it all.

Oh, and by the way, Mike Edge: YOUR server sucks, its worse than a cookie cutter server from a reliable host.
