RM 1.1 Turning on the thread creation

For a while i did not have the automatic thread creation on as didn't want it. Now however i do and wonder how i can get threads up for the resources that i already have or is there no way to do this and only new resources will create threads?

It will only apply to newly created resources after the option has been set.

I believe there may be an add-on which allows resources to be linked to threads, so you could create the threads manually and then link them.

Ah no probs thank you. I am having another issue though. A user has added a resource for a pdf but when they try to update this to a external link it does not seem to save and stays as the pdf. Why would this be.

I have also tried this and have the same issue/.

Resources cannot be changed from one type to another.

You will need to delete/recreate as necessary.

Ah ok. That is a little confusing considering when you go to update resource it seems to give you that option but obviously doesn't. Thanks

Well, local and external downloads are ok. You can't switch from free to commercial or from with a download to without.

You need to enter a new version number to apply a change.
