It is just blank characters.
Match them to the table:
e2 80 8f
e2 80 ab
....and so on.
This would require a stripper function to block characters with no display attribute.
Makes the thread un-clickable.
I was only able to finally see the contents and get a link, by visiting the user's profile page & then following him from there.
You can also click the blue dot next to it. Or you can click the date in the last forum.
You sometimes gotta ask yourself: Is it worth the fix?
Maybe its firefox, but I didn't see a blue dot. It was completely blank.
Forgot that you could click the date.....
The blue dot is only available when there's a new reply. That could explain why it was not there
I would class this as a bug myself.
If there is a way to mess up the forums, then there will be an idiot who will do it.
Problem is these are characters that have a valid use: mostly for RTL/LTR marking. It may be rarely used, but there may be situations where they're needed. We could strip out these characters, but then there will be plenty more, ones that may be more important (though possibly not so much in Latin-based languages).
I feel this generally falls under the requirements of vigilant moderation.
Separate names with a comma.
