Just wondering if anyone has ran into this. Awhile back for a forum I had prefixes made for it. I removed all the prefixes and now when I got to make a post I get this error message:

The following error occurred: Please select a prefix.

But I have no prefixes anywhere on any forums. Under thread pre-fixes I have "No thread prefixes have been added yet." And I even went to see if there was a left over force a prefix but all I have there is :
    Available Prefixes:
    (None) Create New Thread Prefix

So what am I missing? It seems like it didn't default back down when I removed the pre-fixes and it still thinks they are there?

Do you have the option set in the node to require a prefix?

That option shouldn't exist if there are no prefixes.

No I do not I can't seem to find that screen shot listed that you posted above anywhere in there.

Go into a node in the admin CP and then go into the node's options.

I just fixed it and I don't know if it is a bug or not, but I had to create a test prefix, then I got the screenshot posted above, then I unchecked marked it then deleted the prefix and now it works. Might be a bug since it should drop it down when deleting the master prefix @Mike or @Chris D

Presumably you had the option checked and then deleted all of the prefixes?

Yes that is what I am thinking. So when deleting the prefixes first without changing them back it held it instead of defaulting back.

Yes, that sounds like it may be a bug.

I've fixed this in a couple ways now, thanks. (Both when it comes to editing the forum and when it comes to the actual prefix checks.)
