Is there any recommended route to achieve the editing of templates in a code editor? Don't get me wrong, the Admin CP code editor is nice for quick edits but for any serious undertaking it really hampers productivity.

I see in one of Kier's videos he has templates open in Dreamweaver and I found (and subsequently lost) one thread in which someone has made some development tools which allowed templates/template CSS to be edited as files.

I use Atom editor but am not a purest... I would use Eclipse as well if it meant having a serious way to edit templates and CSS from the DB.

What workflow/tools are you XF guys using?
