TeamSpeak 3 Integration

TeamSpeak 3 Integration [Paid] 1.1.26

No permission to buy ($35.00)
7.c version still doesn't work for me. I did notice someone above mentioned they are running on NFO servers, so am I.
However, I currently run a vB board with an old TS add-on, that while it has it's issues, does in fact work with the same server/credentials this mod doesn't. So I know its possible.
Working on it.

What is the difference between this add-on and that one? Does it sync user groups from vBulletin to the TeamSpeak server? If so, I'd be curious to see how that is working around the current issue at play here where most rented servers only have quest serverquery users which don't have the privileges to run certain commands. I do have an idea to work around the issue, especially for rented servers, and it is what I'm currently actively working and testing to make sure there aren't any unexpected issues.

They are basically the same idea, so as to what is different, I couldn't tell you. But the way I used it was to match a usergroup in vB to a server group in TS. So the same way I'm attempting to use your mod.

You already have my contact info, so get a hold of me and I can send you the files for the vB mod if you want(I gotta hunt them down), it's not a paid add-on.

No offense to the author, but when I paid $35 for a "Beta", I assumed it was at least a functional beta. This plugin really is not ready for the "beta" tag, and to avoid confusion, should probably be labeled "alpha" or even "non-functional" until it actually works as advertised.

We recently limited the sale of the plugin to specific users : https://pixelexit.com/threads/temporarily-limiting-teamspeak-3-integration-sales.3173/

Basically Nix is working on tracking down the issues with Shared TeamSpeak Servers, folks who are running their own TS servers seem to be running it fine with minor issues. Until the shared problem is solved the sales will be closed off to people who request it and meet specific requirements.

If you have additional concerns please submit a ticket on our site and thank you for your patience.

I'm interested in an addon like this for a future project, but I wanted to ask a few questions before purchasing:
  • What are some known issues with this plugin?
  • Does this work with TeamSpeak 3 providers like TypeFrag? Does it require your own dedicated server?
  • How long until this product is officially out of BETA?
  • Is there a TeamSpeak page or sidebar widget which shows connected users?
  • Is there a status indicator that shows who is connected to TS currently?
Thanks for taking the time to let me know :)

There are some known issues with getting users synced and those are currently the main problems people are having. I've been hard at work on the next version which addresses these issues and is so far, a lot more stable. As such, I would probably recommend holding off until that version as it won't be too long before it drops.

The next version improves compatibility significantly with providers such as TypeFrag.

I'm hoping to take this product out of beta sometime after the next version if all goes well.

There are two sidebar widgets in the next version, so far:

What kind of status indicator are you referring to? Similar to core XF? If so, not currently but it's something that is planned.

Hope this answers your questions, do let me know if you have further queries!

No rush, but wanted to check in on how the new version if going. I plan to wait for that version before I buy and it will be essential for my gaming community :).

I've posted a couple updates on progress over at Pixel Exit. But I'll run through the major additions here too.

The method of syncing has now changed and users will punch in their UUID from TeamSpeak to sync to their forum accounts.

Stability between XenForo and shared TeamSpeak servers (especially those with limited permissions) has greatly improved. Here's an example against a shared server I picked up:

Widgets and permissions are also included. I'm just working on a tool that will help diagnose any potential issues which will be useful for any troubleshooting. I anticipate a release at some point this week, provided everything goes well.

Sounds awesome :)

Any update on the development on this? Purchased it awhile back and really want to have it properly implemented.
