Tapatalk Forum App for xenForo - iOS / Android / Windows Phone Mobile App [Deleted]

Ok- this is crazy... If anyone can confirm with iPhone 5- I would appreciate it. If I do a search I know will land a link to my site on Google (with iphone 5!only) - example "sphynx red bumps" which gives links to www.sphynxlair.com i click the link to my forum and it takes me here:

Here are two links to my site that redirect me to the page above:

http://www.sphynxlair.com/community/mobiquo/smartbanner/ads.php?referer=http://www.sphynxlair.com/community/threads/brownish-spots-on-skin.897/&code=2a796c2e3d7c42f1b2016395f1d0d7b4&board_url=http://www.sphynxlair.com/community

And another

http://www.sphynxlair.com/community/mobiquo/smartbanner/ads.php?referer=http://www.sphynxlair.com/community/threads/black-spots.1029/&code=2a796c2e3d7c42f1b2016395f1d0d7b4&board_url=http://www.sphynxlair.com/community
Is this possible???

Here is the funny thing - on iPhone 4 it shows that Tapatalk page shortly but DOES redirect to my site as requested. Only iPhone 5 so far does this redirect to Tapatalk. Not iPad, laptop or desktop.
I clicked those links on my Win7 desktop with Chrome, I got sent to the TapaTalk site.

The two links posted are both links to the Smartbanner ad part of Tapatalk - /mobiquo/smartbanner/ads.php?referer=http:/blah
None of the results from my Google search for those keywords are links to the Smartbanner ad (using an iPhone running iOS 7.0.4).

I think the SmartBanner can be disabled using the hook disabling workaround posted earlier.

Hi Matt - have you seen my issue, not sure if what you had suggested will fix my problem its a few threads back, http://xenforo.com/community/thread...ackberry-mobile-app.27837/page-21#post-703740 Ive uncheck the box you had in that thread.
Just read the post. That won't fix the issue you are having. It looks like TapaTalk is re-writing your URLs and bouncing them back to TapaTalk. I'd either report it on their support site, and see what they have to say, or just remove that God awful piece of software and never look back!

Update -I re-uploaded all Tapatalk files to my server, the issue has seemed to disappear so far, will keep updates posted in this thread.

The app is great but it would be even greater to add support for taigachat into it.
What do you say developer?

Tapatalk used to be ok, until it started filling the server log up with errors. Banned users could still browse (and generate an error while they were at it), replying to conversations generated errors and now with the all new update, it seems looking at profiles is too much for it.

As Tapatalk don't bother to update the plugin directly on here... 2.0.2 has been released with a resolution to the SPAM sign up issues. Particularly like the option to put signups in to a specific membership group!

Changelog Update Note:
  1. Add Tapatalk registration switch
  2. Add Usergroup assignment for Tapatalk registered user, forum owner can assign usergroup for Tapatalk registered users
  3. Add support for advanced quote(checkout quote function on Tapatalk)
  4. Remove tag function(will add back in the future)
  5. Fix compatibility problem with NodeAsTabs
  6. Fix uninstall Tapatalk will result template disable problem
  7. Fix disable Tapatalk not work problem
And 3 screen grabs from the email I just received from them...

Yeah, and it's borked as normal. Line 74 on /moqiquo/mobiquo_common.php looks like it's poorly coded. Tries to set the registration URL if not set in the config.

Damn, I've updated the plugin, 755 the mobiquo folder and I'm getting the "Didn't receive 200 OK..," error.
I'm loving it.
