From the settings screenshot, you don't have 'Use Both Navtab and Node List' checked in the add-on options. That will cause exactly what you're seeing in the screenshot of your site.

Also check 'Show Group Header in Forum'.

I don't have any intention of writing a vB group importer for a couple of reasons. But the major one is I don't have a vB database with enough users and groups to properly debug an import system. I would need someone that would allow me to clone an existing site to do it. The few that have stepped forward have only had a small number of groups and that isn't a good benchmark to use when debugging an import system.

Also if I were to do it, it would be a completely separate program. It wouldn't be fair to everyone else if I were to increase the price of the add-on to account for the importer.

I thought of a few other features that would be great to have:

• Per group avatars (Each user can have an avatar specific to each group. This is useful when you want to use a photo of yourself in the group but you dont want anyone else on the forum to know what you look like).
• On group page below the group owner avatar, display the avatars of all group moderator(s).
• Join Request Application (When a user tries to join a group, they're asked to first fill out a form and the group owner can view the form results). It would be great to have 6 fields or so and we set their titles in the phrase system.

P.S. I fully understand there's no guarantee that any of these will added to the wishlist or implemented into the addon.

I am sorry to hear that.

To address your concerns, I would let you have MY database once I convert which have a lot of users (11,500) and I have a good number of groups to debug.

I would pay separately for an importer.
That would encourage me to buy your addon (I probably would anyway) and OTHERS.
My users want their groups from VB, and will hound me if I don't restore them.

Please consider it.

I found a minor'ish bug. On the group page, it displays the group owner's avatar, but not the group owner name. The name should display above the avatar.

I found another possible bug:

I have a group set to "Not Private But Require Approval" and when i try to invite members (from members tab of group), nothing happens (member isn't added and member doesnt receive any kind of pm).

I can't duplicate this. Are you certain the member doesn't receive the PC?

Are there any errors in the admin error log?

And members aren't added until they accept the invitation.

I use another addon (log in as user) to test that the other user doesn't receive the pm. PMs are enabled for the user too as i can send pm's to the account.

Are you seeing the invitation sent message when you send the invitation?

If you see the message that the message is sent, AND there are no errors, I think I know what you're doing.

Are you trying to send an invitation to the same user that you have defined as the Group PC Sender? If yes, you can't do that. A user can't send a PC to themselves.

Sorry, i forgot i did that. Im still getting used to how everything works with this addon.

In regards to the group options, can you add a sub-option for "Not Private But Require Approval" that removes the join button (and prevents the join function from being used) so that new members must be invited by the group owner? I know there's the "Hide Private Group" option that does this, but that completely hides the group. What im looking for is a middle ground between that and require approval.
