Would XenForo Cloud like to sponsor our forum? It barely gets any activity but has sizable user count so it would be free marketing and low load. ^^I hear XenForo Cloud is pretty good.
You can’t restore a CyberPanel backup into cPanel. You have to manually extract the backup, re-image the VPS/server, configure cPanel, manually re-create the account/databases, upload the backup files, fix file permissions/owner, and import the database.Normally you have backups of a website for at least 2 weeks so that you can get the site up and running again quickly in an emergency.
So I'm surprised that such an important site has been offline for so long.
This is not just a backup issue, and depending on how their server was set up, getting the data back is difficult to impossible currently.Normally you have backups of a website for at least 2 weeks so that you can get the site up and running again quickly in an emergency.

I can see if I can get him a server with my business partner,
Do they have to restore a backup on their end and/or are they trying the decrypting method?I’m at the mercy of my host and can only wait till they get this mess sorted.

Ouch, that’s not good. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help, I have experience with backing up CyPa and restoring into cPanel nowI’m not sure, I’m kinda in the dark for now.
That’s appreciated, but I’m not in need of that at this time.
