XF 1.1 Smooth Test Import From VB3.8

There are 2 parts to this thread, firstly a big thanks to everyone behind xenforo and the mods here who answered my stupid questions over the past few days.

I decided to do a test import of my VB forum to xenforo and I can't believe how smoothly it went.it took longer to upload the files than it did to do the import.. a few quick mysql commands and i have all my videos working, ....

Next, what to do next! I know i can import my forum, just need amember to give me a xenforo plugin, after i get that and import the live forum /Forum to the Xenforo Install / New_Forum whats the best thing to do?

Rename the old forum then rename the new forum to the old name or change all the links ?

Give you a plugin?

I'm no expert, but I'd do what you are saying.
/forum old forum Close old forum.
/new_forum xenforo
Make sure xenforo is working as intended.
Then change /forum to something like /oldforum and
/new_forum to /forum if you want xenforo to be in its own directory.

Since you are moving from vB to xf, you will want them to be in the same directory.
That is if vB was in /forum, you will want xf to be in /forum.
