XF 2.0 Creating test import from VB 4.0

Hello, I've set up a test site before transferring my forum from VB 4 to Xenforo 2.0.12.

I'm currently running the importer and it's importing around 30k users at the rate of 1%, I then have to click proceed and it does another 1%. It's taking hours!
Is this correct?

Also appear to have a problem in the admin section, clicking the search button top right doesn't do anything!
In styling, I can't see or select any colours in the palletes. Will re-uploading the original files solve this problem?

That could indicate server set up or config issues.

How big is the site?
You could consider importing via CLI which doesn't utilise the browser.

Sorry, site size is 23k users and 655k posts.

Hmm, that size site shouldn't pose a problem for the web based importer.

Assuming both installations are on the same server, if it's taking that long then it does indicate bottlenecks or tuning related issues, which a sysadmin or your host will have to look into.

Thanks, you're right, it shouldn't cause a problem as I've run tests with Xenforo 1.0 and that was fairly quick. I've just purchased 2.1.3, I'll do a tune up, clear the decks and try again.

Thanks, Brogan. I've just done a fresh install of 2.1.3 that went fairly fast.
Problem I now have is the importers, I've uploaded xfi-1.2.3 and the system isn't seeing them in the import data section!

You need to actually install the add-on after uploading the files to the server.

It should be listed at admin.php?add-ons/
