Twitter videos don't seem to have a canonical link/permalink so it wouldn't be possible to choose between a full tweet embed and just the video. I think the best way would be to keep the Twitter media site for embedding full tweets and create a custom BBCode to display the video alone.

Those work for me. (I mean the first two. The third form is not supported.) Do you know what phpinfo() is, and if so can you send me a link to its output?

They are supported but if they were posted before you installed the add-on you'd need to edit the post to force links to be reparsed as media embed.

I'm getting the same error when I attempt to upgrade to the latest version.

@ALMUSA @cherylferraro What are your versions of PHP, of XenForo, and the previous version of the add-on?

Below is a different version of the add-on. Try upgrading with this one. Please do write down your old version number before upgrading, because it's a very important information to diagnose the issue.

@ALMUSA Do you know which version of PHP your server is running? Either way, try the version I posted above and if that doesn't work, uninstall the old version then install the latest version.

Thank you for your quick reply.

PHP version is PHP5.5

I will try to install the version you posted in your previous post and see how things go. I will let you know.

Thanks a bunch mate.

Recently started getting an error:

Template Errors: thread_view
  1. preg_replace_callback(): Requires argument 2, '', to be a valid callback in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/library/s9e/MediaBBCodes.php, line 217
  2. preg_replace_callback(): Requires argument 2, '', to be a valid callback in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/library/s9e/MediaBBCodes.php, line 230
Anyone recognize the problem? Thanks.

There's no call to preg_replace_callback() anywhere near those lines. What version of the add-on do you use? Did you download it from here?
