YouTube redirects all HTTP requests to HTTPS. The iframe's URL has been updated to always use HTTPS and skip the redirect.

@JoshyPHP They didn't appear in fact, lol. Accessing the poll in a new tab with HTTPS didn't trigger any mixed content tho.

@JoshyPHP Oh.. that's weird. For some reason it's working fine now. When I got that mixed error, I temporarily disabled the media by commenting out the HTML replacement and added a simple text notice. Then after you asked me for an example, I restored the comment on the HTML replacement and posted a random straw poll on a random test thread, and for some reason it started working without any error. I first got the error on a media which was posted on Siropu's Chat add-on, so I tried posting a new random Straw Poll there (I had deleted the previous Straw Polls which triggered the error) and there was no error either. Oh well, I guess it works fine now, lol.. (ref). Thanks anyway!

Yeah, some sites do that. I notified Straw Poll but I don't know whether they'll be able to fix it quickly. It should only be a small change but who knows.

The reality is that HTTPS was meant for banking and online retail and sensitive sites. Most websites were developed with only HTTP in mind and they are simply not ready to be accessed via HTTPS.

I don't know enough technically about Xenforo to understand if these things aren't working together.

@kella I think there's an issue with Amazon's widget because those links work for me, just not every time. I can refresh the page ten times and sometimes they'll load, sometimes they'll display the orange thing. I don't know what to do with that to be frank.

That's kind of what I figured. Thanks for looking into it though.

Amazon is working, everyone testing had some kind of adblock running. It is randomly giving us an add instead of the item but I expect that this is going to be standard.

Liveleak however is just giving us all a blank black box. It is acting like it wants to work.

I looked at the sourcecode in github and pulled out the embed link and added that shortened url to it in a separate tab in chrome and it loaded just fine.

Probably the extent of my troubleshooting abilities.

Hello and first of all thank you for making such a great addon, it's working perfectly on my website.

I would like to know if it's possible to change the font color used to embed into forum posts, like Reddit posts on my website are embedded in a gray color, which is not easy to read as I'm using UI.X dark so I have a dark grey background on my forums.

I've looked and tried many things but haven't figured out how to change the font color for that.

I assume your site uses HTTPS? Liveleak has had issues with HTTPS. I sent them an email about it a while ago but I don't remember getting an answer.

No, I don't think that's possible. Can you send me a link to such a post in your forums so that I can take a look at it?
