RM Marketplace - Physical product / Digital product / Service offer / Percentage on sales [Paid]

The name of this add-on confuses me.

1. Is it an actual shopping store script? Same as Prestashop? Except for a forum?


2. Can this add-on be run along side the Resource Manager.
Example: I want to buy this add-on to sell t-shirts and also install another instance of RM to sell add-ons

Or i can you your add-on to sell both t-shirts and add-ons?
 
What about giving users an affiliate option, where they can refer sales and earn a percentage? That could really get users sharing links and bringing in the bucks for everyone!

Yes, I have been looking for a shop for Xenforo since I bought it years ago. Selling t-shirts and stickers - etc. Is there an image option that expands when clicked to view the physical product for sale?

It's built to be a marketplace, like amazon, where users of the forum can sell stuff.

But it could as well be used as a shopping store script if you only grant to yourself (the admin) the right to sell resources.

This addon is built to plug into the resource manager.
Hence you have only one entry point, ie. the resource manager.

With my addon you can sell wathever you want, you could use a section in the RM to sell t-shirts and another section to sell add-ons.

Well with this and the RM addon from xF you can.

Not sure what you mean about the image ? The RM lets you add images as attachments, so I guess that does that.

  • Add coupon discount feature. Ability to apply a coupon discount, with fixed amount or in percent.
  • Integration with third party Credit System (AD Credits, ******* Credits Premium, etc)
I will buy if that features exist. @joey_tbf & @rafass likely agree with me ;)

Good suggestion, but remember that the addition that have been made are already huge ;)
 
The only other question @MtoR is, if lets say a member wanted to sell a product on a month to month basis, I would like to charge them each month to "rent" a store per say in the marketplace, would this work?

And the percentage thing, so if a member sells a product in the market place via Paypal, and if set up right, I would "automatically" get the set percentage into my Paypal account on each sale that member makes?

We have planned to do this for the next release (coupon), though we have to see how we implement this as each user can sell their own resource, not only the admin.

Regarding the credit system, this is more complicated and for some of them we don't own a license so not sure about that.
How would yous ee that ?

That's a very interesting idea !

This isn't supported no, how would you see that ?
Payment to open a marketplace that would let them create the resource category ?
Then they'd be able to create the resources and renew the store after the given amount of time if expired ?

Yes exactly ! Payments are parallel so the seller get the money and you get the money in the mean time.

Yes- like Xenforo accounts upgrade. Or I guess make it work with Xenforos
Account upgrade system or similar?

When I had VBulletin years ago with a shop, members paid monthly via PayPal to have a store on a month to month basis.
 
No it's not but I could consider this in a later version, though I can't give you a timeframe as this is not at the top of our TODO list as we just released a new version.

Is the add on permission based? So
In other words, can I create a group "sellers" and once a member pays via accounts upgrade I can then add them
Into that group and they can begin selling?
 
It shoulds interesting. You should install this on your Themes Corp forum because a demo would be excellent.

@Shoehoe is right. Compatible with a credits add-on is a huge thing for me(******* credits in my case)

I will keep a close eye on this add-on.

Coupon system for the next release: thanks. I will buy this add on.

My idea is, add permission to:
  • Can create coupon for own product. So, we can set the ability to seller to create coupon of his product for promotion purpose.
  • Can create coupon for any products. Admin is able to create coupon for any products by anybody.
Coupon can be a fixed amount or a certain percentage discount set by coupon creator. coupon can be apply to a certain products or to a product category.

I have ******* Credit Premium. If you are interested to create an integration i will contact you. I already have permission to give it for development purpose.

Ok, and if some category (sections) are used only to store articles, HOWTOs or products reviews? Those sections/categories will be mixed with the marketplace?
