Exactly, anyway, with some basic initial options to handle physical products, listening suggestion and improving the addon with each update, I'm pretty sure many people will be interested and this addon will be a best seller.
You Know? software of stores are heavy, slow, boring, (stores are boring) but forums are really fun.
There are not something like this in Xenforo actually ;)
 
I'll be glad to give you good suggestions and even I could recommend the addon to my friends. I have several friends with online stores that are thinking about jump to the forums.
 
Great, a proper marketplace would be very interesting.
And currently, is it possible to run it like a market place where users can sell something and when transaction is completed can organise on their own shipping/delivery etc? Like a craigslist but payment is connected to your forum account so you would get scolded if you scam people?
As an example: there could be a form with buyers shipping info on the download link when they buy, that they could return to a special email/forum thread?
 
At the moment, your user can sell something.
However, the can't organise their shipping nor delivery as physical products are not handled yet.

Hi guys,

Just to let you know, version 2.0.0 development is undergoing, so far the following is done :
  • Creation of different types of product (service, digital, physical)
  • License renewal for digital product
  • New pages: Your purchases / Your licenses / Your sales
Though the list is pretty think, this has needed quite a bunch of rewrite in the code.
Anyhow progress is good so far.

Next steps are :
  • Licenses management for the seller
  • Physical product purchase handling (fields for name, etc...)
  • And some other secret features
As soon as this is done, the new version will be released in beta.

Tax support is not planned in that version but that could be in the release after.
@Allan should correct the name it's not Markertplace but Marketplace

The price raise is an anticipation of the upcoming release which will include a far larger scope of functionnalities. This is the launch price for the 2.0.0 version which will be raised of 5$ afterwards as we wanted to make a launch offer.
No raise of the renewal price is foreseen, even after launch.

The 2.0.0 functionnalities scope will be quite complete so we won't raise it more afterwards.
