XF 1.5 Reinserting deleted user rows from backup, is it possible?

So I removed some accounts via batch that I shouldn't have. I have a backup and can extract the lost user rows via like phpmyadmin and export. Is it as simple as inserting them back in via a sql file? Any problem with userids and or anything elsewhere? Thanks!!

That's not possible because many other tables are effected as well. Close your forum now and restore from the latest backup.

dang, I really messed up. The latest back up now will be 24h old and in an active forum I'd lose just as much new stuff. Thanks for the info!

@dethfire I have scripts designed to extract a user from a database dump and re-apply their account and fixup ownership.

There is a script to dump the content, which produces SQL, then a script to finalize the re-import. Start a conversation with me if you are interested as these scripts require customization due to add-ons
