ok, but what about updates? time does not get updated?
It's going to be a while before there is any update to XenForo (
if ever again), this court case was supposed to be over in january or whatever, well that rolled around and now its all pushed back to march.
It's pretty much been that same pattern for the last 2 years,
XF lawyers are failing to get this to trial/settlement. Honestly they are
almost as bad as IB lawyers for extending this. WikiTravel or whatever was able to wrap up a lawsuit in under 12 months against Internet Brands, why can't XF lawyers do it in over 2 years???
XF hasn't had any sort of update in over 6 months, there hasn't been a major revision in over 14 months, and any contact with management has been limited and uninformative. (Remember that Q&A thread that was promised).
But at any rate, 14 months with no updates and the software is still a decent solution for forums of all sizes, and admins of all knowledge levels. But one should wonder how long will the software be usable with no future updates, and if the current feature set will suit the needs forever.
