Not a bug Profile Picture Bug

This is just a profile picture bug and I don't know how to fix it. If anyone knows how to fix this please reply letting me know how.

You should probably ask the author of the design, Flexile Dark in the resource thread, here. As this is not an issue with stock Xenforo.

Well it's been happening with all the designs.

Try this:

AdminCP -> Tools - > Rebuild Cache - Rebuild User Caches.

The small member avatar is the correct number if you examine it against the large avatar and the member ID, but your avatars need to be rebuilt. Something happened in your member numbering that caused them to get off.

Is it just a few or all of them that are off?

According to Jake here, the rebuild user cache wont fix this problem. You have to reupload the avatar image.

It happens to anyone that changes their profile picture. So only when people upload stuff, it gets screwed up. The people that have had the same profile picture for a while now, it isn't happening too. I don't know when it started happening.

You may want to check the permission on both of the folders to see if maybe one is not allowing you to write to it.

Also, check your server error log to see if there is anything to do with avatars. Then try reuploading your avatar. Check the error logs again.

Then check for any files that may have been replaced by an add-on.

I agree with Dodgeboard. Check the permissions on the data directory. Make sure data and all subdirectories are writable (chmod 777).

Sure it isn't just the browsers cache? Looks like it to me. Or the known gravatar caching issue?

agreed with Robbo.. it looks a lot like a browser caching issue

On Windows.with your browser on the page, just hold down Ctrl and press refresh (or Ctrl + F5)
For Mac/Apple: Apple + R or command + R
For Linux: F5
