Duplicate Problem with file upload in iOS 8

Getting this error when I try to upload a image to my forum. Worked in iOS 7.*, broken in iOS 8.
"The uploaded file was not an image as expected"

I'm running Xenforo 1.1.4.

How to fix it?

Saw that one, but it's not the error that I get.

It's fundamentally the same issue as iOS8. Most of that bug report is relating to the upload itself not working or behaving oddly; what you're seeing is likely what happens after the server times out waiting for the browser to send more data.
