I'm not from the UK and not sure how well known these kids are in the US... but this makes certain American teenage pop stars the embarrassing mid-upper range talent that they are at best. Check out the other songs too. It's not like they are simplistic on the beat bubble gum and these kids aren't exactly on the cusp of adulthood either... This one is a solo act but check out the others too.

Back in the early 80's I recorded a demo of a song but didn't have a bass guitar handy, so I used my voice and managed a very convincing bass line. But this video obliterates any pride I had in my recording, lol.
