Is there a reason you don't use the XF Timezone and time display format for events?
Each events have custom TimeZone. Show it should be the timezone of Event.

I also noticed that group ownders can reactivate tabs, that have been deactivated for the category..
Yep! As i said in description. The disable tabs in category is temporary. So owner can reactive then.

Is it possible to disable the URL portions for normal users. I thinks there would often be mistakes if you let normal users do this..
Only owner can do it. And do for a time. You could not change when it put.

Here's my suggestion regarding this: Tabs: Some Tabs should be forbidden

I just saw, that group staff can (permanently!) delete other users messages on the wall and even worse edit them. I can't find a way to turn this option off. :confused: Did I miss anything?

I have already checked this. I set the red settings ("never") for registered users, but my testuser can delete and edit other user's postings. That's a serious bug I suppose.

Another thing: No soft-delete possible?? :confused:

If user a part of group. Also check this role permission: Manage contents posted in group
 
Oh, thank you, now I found it. :oops: But I have to make some suggestions (again):
  • Please implement soft delete
  • Please split edit posts permission and delete posts permission (maybe it is usefull to allow group admins to delete other users postings, but if they can edit them, they may falsify them).
 
Another important thing: There should be a separate permission for approve content. Otherwise a group admin can't approve comments when he has not the rights "Manage contents posted in group"
 
The event times are messed up. When members create an event, on the side bar the wrong time is displayed and the event closes hours before the event is supposed to.

Example:
I created an event for 9pm tonight. On the sidebar it showed that I created the event at 4:00pm (even though I created the even at 3:30pm). And then at 4pm the event closed. It should have closed at 9pm when the event is supposed to start.
 
Love the mod but I noticed a "bug". Despite "disabling" certain group tabs either in XF admin or via the group frontend admin, they still appear. Can this be fixed? I want to NOT show "Events" and maybe one other.

Also a suggestion, mass member invite! :)

It still show on group owner. You can login with normal user and see it
 
*Confirmed. Thank you! But if they are disabled in XF admin, shouldn't they not show even to group owners? No biggie, I'm just picky about stuff like that. :D
 
I have another issue. I'd like to make the forum posts on each group "self-contained" and not dependent on the existence/linking to a node. I made nodes for each category and linked them which works great, but group forum posts are showing up in a normal "New Posts" check, even tho the "group nodes" are hidden in admin. How can I fix this?

I think it is a bug of addon. Please report on my site. I will keep my eyes on that.

I didn't realize this was XF 1.5 only? is that a mistake? or is it supposed to be that way.

I'm just asking because i haven't moved up to 1.5 yet and you didn't specify it anywhere.
