New User Conversation [Deleted]

Starting the last two days, when the new user replies to my conversation, the conversation does not appear in my inbox. I only know that some of the users are replying because I am getting Tapatalk notifications for the replies. But when I click Tapatalk notification to take me to the conversation, it tells me that the conversation doesn't exist.

These new replies are NOT resulting in a xenforoo email notification since Thursday. I know they are real because the tapatalk notification shows some of their reply text.

I have the New User Conversation option checked to Leave the Conversation, but I've been still getting their replies up until now.

I understand his situation.
The problem he is talking about is when a user reply to this welcome conversation.

Hi there, was a solution found to this and the IP issues, or is it still an issue?
I ask as there seem to be nothing mentioned and am wondering if there was an issue or a misconfiguration etc?

Hello, I manage 2 forums with similar configuration but different hoster.
On the first, no problem with this plugin at all. It simply work perfect.
On the second one, the activation of this plugin cause a server error when a new user click on the link he receive via mail to confirm the registration:

Yes. I also noticed the files were in a different location (presumably this add-on was previously developed by Extra License?).

I didn't bother with the "upgrade" as I didn't fancy uninstalling the Extra License version to re-install the current version - and having to re-do the phrases.

Unless, of course, I'm mixing-up my add-ons?

[Edit: Yes, I'm mixing-up my add-ons - this one is different to the one I have installed.]

I apologize if I missed this but is there a way to include links within the conversation that will work instead of just being text? Thanks and I love the add on.
 
If you tick the 'Leave Conversation' and set your ID as the sender, then it should not show in your inbox unless someone replies to it.

Might not be the case but that add-on is from 2012. This has the same and is updated so would fix bugs, security issues etc if there ever was one so probably best to switch to the newer one to avoid any possibly flaws in an outdated version.
 
Is this add-on causing a problem with Xenforos shared IPs feature? Most users have 3-8 shared IPs on my forum even if I know them to not be sharing IPs. There can't be that much of a static IP coincidence going on.

Ahhhh that would explain why most of my members have so many shared IP's then?
We've had this issue for ages but didn't know how to pinpoint it.. Did this only start for you after installing this?
Seriously, the shared IP feature for us is very messy.. Easily 3-10 shared IP's from people from different cities and parts of the UK..

Would be interesting to know if this is the issue as we've had this ongoing for some time now.


I have edited this to reflect that the changes Andy suggests, I already have in place. So have no idea now. :p

I read that it could be a new conversation add-on causing the problem, but I believe I had the problem before I installed new conversation. I was thinking perhaps Mr @Andy B has some insight.
