XF2 will have a Navigation Manager which applies exclusively to the header tabs and subnavigation.

It would be extremely useful to also have functionality to manage:
    • Footer Navigation Menu's.
Its common for sites to have extensive footer menu's. No matter if we want a small footer menu like in default setup or an extensive one, it would be nice to manage these without template edits.
    • Moderator Bar Menu.
This would allow us to easily add handy links for our staff.
    • Media Gallery Navigation block.
    • XFRM Navigation block.
    • Add Menu's to any page through the navigation menu manager.

Really, doing something like what wordpress has for their menu manager where you can define your own menus wherever you want with your own markup would be awesome :)
