Migrate Vb4.2 to xf

Hello,

I have been a vbulletin customer for a couple of years. For the first time I feel vbulletin ship is starting to sink and I get pulled with it.
Which is sad because I was promised "The best forum software in the world" (we all know the video).

Anyway I am looking for a stable, not hard to maintain, highly customisable forum software.
After testing(as best as I could) the demo I started to like how xenforo does its job.

But what I didn't like:
> does xenforo provide a mobile theme for admincp?
> I am the type of man that if things don't work as I want it to, I prefer to do it by myself: can a client modify the source code without losing his license? (rewrite some queries in order to speed up things)
> how is the upgrade process? I find vbulletins upgrade process to be tricky and you can easily end up with a nonfunctional forum.

Thank you.

The ACP isn't responsive but I think there may be an add-on for it.

Yes, you can extend the code to suit your needs.

Upgrades are very simple. Typically less than 5 minutes, depending on how customised your site is.

Thank you for your answer.
Some of the plugins I deem necesary are:
> verify mail before registration (vb has a plugin)
> email only login
> restrict categories/sections access based on reputation/postcount
> email send in case a user didn't access the forum for a given time
> welcome email/pm to new registered users
> force users to read certain topic
> make first post sticky on certain forums
> automoderate topic if some configured phrases are detected in forum title or in thread content
> set up a forum in which all the reported threads go.
> a light ajax chatbox
> any infraction system or something similar
