Is it possible to merge two forums, each on a different site, into a third site?
I asked a similar question a couple months ago about merging two separate user databases, and the stated solution was to go to ACP>Tools>Import External Data. So I'm assuming, if it is possible, this is how to do it. But the follow leads me to believe it may not be possible due to conflicting content ID's:
If you are importing into a new installation with no existing data, you can retain the existing IDs for imported users, forums, threads etc., so that thread 345 from your import source will map to thread 345 in your XenForo database. If you have existing XenForo data, this will fail.
I figured I'd ask before attempting the merge.
So ... here are my questions:
1). Can I merge two xenforo boards from different sites into a single xenforo board on a third site?
If not...
2). Can I transfer xenforo board content from one site, to another xenforo site with existing content?
