What did it look like? I saw this old 2009 post on vb.org

...The first design-drafts for vbulletin 4, that were published by Kier, were new and innovative. The current vB4-style is the same old-fashioned table-style only a little bit more modern....

Something like this

forumbits.webp
hnbt.webp
inlinemod-hilite.webp
popupmenu.webp
threadbits.webp
vbulletin4_xbleed_style.webp
whats-going-on.webp

After a second look, I think it looks better than default xenforo too.

I like the "What's going on" block. I think that the "block" of online users in the sidebar it's not very important. Users doesn't need to know every second what users are online...the botton position is better imho.

Now can we stop talking out VB on the Xenforo forums please
I didn't make this thread to talk about vB, I made it to see his design. Doesn't matter what forum software it is, I just wanna see his work. Xenforo is so awesome that it makes you curious about what came before.

I think it is the same design as the current VB4. It was just written by a third party...

False. The design was changed drastically with feedback. I prefer the default XenForo over his original ideas for vB4, personally.
