I now get "Please enter a name that is at most 16 characters long"

Hmm, that must be a configurable setting. Its 25 on mine.
I'll change it so it uses the Max set characters

With version 1.0.1 I still receive the 25 max characters error. If I change the max characters to 40 in registration options, then it goes to an error that the username does not match the allowed characters. My user name match regex isHmm, that must be a configurable setting. Its 25 on mine.

Got it. I changed it toAh, no numbers. To make everything unique, to allow multiple posts per guest user, it uses a segment of the session id...

Installed ok, and basic testing looks good. However as per other posts I would really want the following to utilise it:
However I would like to say thanks, this is something I really wanted so really appreciate the work you have put in. For the time being I have disabled it, but if you need any help with testing I would be happy to help.
- Registration page (default as per normal registration) to popup in overlay
- Once registered return to thread and post.
- Option to login (in case already registered)
Hi @Liam W,
I was wondering if you had any thoughts on the below requests and if the would be possible?
Cheers

Hi @Liam W is this bug likely to be resolved anytime soon? The addon seems to be unusable as we get this error whenever an unregistered user tries to make a post, and prior to actually registering.I now get "Please enter a name that is at most 16 characters long"
xf1.2.4
Chrome
Got it. I changed it toCode:^[a-zA-Z0-9. _-]+$
Yes. It took care of the errors.Hey there. Did that regex change work for you then?
Is it ready yet? I wanna have. lol!Thoughts?.
Perhaps it will be more efficient at this point if @Liam W were to release this in coordination with version 1.4 of XF, which I suppose won't be too long?Any updates on this? Very interested in the add-on!
