Is there any one to schedule posts?

I'm running some competitions on my forum. It's a bit of a pain to have to write details every day and refer back to older emails. I would much prefer to write the posts in advance and then schedule them for the appropriate day.

Is it possible to do this with XenForo?

You would need an add-on for that.

Could you not write them in a staff area and then move them on the specific day?

I want to post them live so that they appear under what's new and the latest threads section in my sidebar when the article is live.

So what I have done is create a private admin room and created a thread in which I can post all details etc. I can then simply copy and paste on the required day.

Only limitation to this so far is the thread has appeared in the latest threads section in the sidebar.

Can't you remove that private forum from the latest threads?

If you write a post in January, and it's June and you publish it.
It most likely won't show under what's new anyway, because the first post is still January.
You could prep content internally and copy/paste it live when it's ready to go.
This also allows the team to work on the thread, post comments, etc.

Yeah that's what I'm going to do. I'll write the content just now and copy it over when I need to :)

Is there still no way to automate the process?
