I'm in the process of testing an import from VB4.x.x
I am wondering if there's a way to keep my smilies and custom bbcode. I found Kier's replacer which will be useful for converting the vbulletin video tag (http://xenforo.com/community/threads/post-content-find-replace.6548/), but what about smilies and other bbcode?
I am assuming that if I create the custom bbcode with the same tags, and add the smilies with the same smilie codes ( :smilie_text: ) before I import, they will be parsed correctly.
Is this correct? I just want to be sure before I go through with it.
If this is not the case, is there a way to do this properly?
