I installed couple of add-ons and customized on test server.

Now I would like to zip the all the files to be installed on live server. When I go to list add-on's and export, it only export 1 xml file but not all the files that typically come with the add-on which are uploaded to directories JS, Library etc.

Is there a way to zip the entire add-on and export it?

    Appreciate the help!

Isn't it easier to just download the original add-on again?

They will already be packaged correctly.

I think OP is talking about packaging the customized files...

    It seems clear to me?
    Maybe I'm misunderstanding though.

I guess he wants a new zip to be created with his customisations included.

All of that is stored in the database though, not the php files.
