XF 1.4 Honeypots

Is there something you have to do to "configure" the honeypots in 1.4, or are they all set up by default?

I've been getting about 5-6 spammers a week able to register, their posts all get moderated, so it's not been a big pain in the arse but they all come in with outlook.com addresses and IP location is always New Delhi. It's just getting kind of old.

They're set by default.

The spammers you're seeing are very likely to be human. (Though it may not look like it based on content, if you trace their requests in the raw logs you'll see some very human traits.)

I dunno. Pretty much every spammer we get is viewing their own profile prior to posting. Seems mechanical. That's not to say the sign ups were not initially manual. Just seems like a lot more than the previous add-on for honeypots. Also a lot less logging to tell us what the behavior seems like.

Outlook is a bit weird though. All of ours are gmail or that one Russian one. Both common for xrumer.

I've been noting the same as well...curious if there is an additional plugin needed to up the aggressiveness.
