Can you just have different categories for "for sale" and "wanted" etc? Each category can have specific custom fields assigned, no?

yeah, when the "Classified Type" (Advert Type) is the very first field which the user is selecting, then you could also have different "Categories" for each "Classified Type".
This is another advantage of having the "Classified Type"-field as the very first thing a user is selecting when creating a new Classified.


Currently it is implemented vice-versa, which does not allow for much flexibility.

Fixed a conflict with XenResource.

There was a conflict with the XenResource which prevents the visitor to view a resource.

Nothing else is this update unfortunately. But there will be some in the next release!

@empire @erich37 yeah... the system can be made a little more flexible for the users and I will try to implement that once I am done with the major implementations that are currently pending.

Is it at all possible to tell the Google API thingy to allow simple city/state locations? It seems to always drill down to a street name... I can guarantee that most of our users, while finding it useful to find basses in their area, are not interested in sharing their street names. I do love how the api will allow for future "find xyz near me" searches

That would the job of the "Make location private" checkbox right below the location fetcher button And there is an admin option to enable that by default so the visitors can only see the city, state and country.

One last suggestion: Our users quite frequently browse SOLD ads (for pricing ideas etc). There isn't really an intuitive way to do that currently (pulling down the filter menu to "closed" isn't very intuitive - though I understand changing that to SOLD won't work with all ad types. hmm. I'll think on it.

Maybe I should another parameter "completed" which will only list the adverts that has been marked as completed...

Keep them coming. Been running this in production for a few weeks now, I know brave/foolish soul that I am, on one of my smaller sites. No major issues, people are impressed. Good job.

Did you try it yourself or did you only look at the screenshots? I think that the board on the screenshots have "Home" disabled all together.

I have home enabled on my board and this is what it looks like.

Yes, the "Home" crumb is added if you set something the on "Home Page URL" option. In the demo and screenshots posted here I've left that blank.
And do note: The first two crumbs are managed by XenForo

The position is not exactly there. But yes, the location will be shown on the thread and classified lists.

• Right now we have a classified forum with XenCentral Trading System for ratings. I would love to have this on my sites but ratings are a must and there is currently no way to integrate both systems, I guess. I see that you have plans to release a rating system as well, integrated to the classified addon. Can I have a time frame for this? It will allow me to plan ahead of time my options and take the best decision.
• When you say the addon only supports one currency, can that currency be personalized? I mean, instead of USD can I display EUR or something else?
• Support for bd Paygates is available right now? I have a few custom paygates and I would love to have them supported for paid classifieds.

This is currently under construction and don't want to give out any specific date as of yet so that I don't pressurize myself. But hopefully will be able to give out a date (and some screenies) in the next couple of days. But no promises though...

Yes, you can use any currency you want. Though:

[bd] Paygates only supports USD, CAD, AUD, EUR, GBP to process the payments. And by "paid classifieds" you mean "paid packages", right?

Since there hasn't been any reports for any (major) bugs, I am focusing on adding:

1. Advertiser Fields - this is virtually the same as the custom user fields by XenForo.
2. Trader Ratings - well, you guys already know what this will do
   But there is a another sub-module for this:
   1. Rating Criteria - admins can create various criteria that the parties have to input when they rate each other. And there will also be an option to write a review (can be switched off, make it mandatory or optional). The criteria can be associated with a classified category(ies) or can be made global.
   All the ratings are ternary, meaning they can only be negative (-1), neutral (0) or positive (+1). I am not opting into the "stars" rating system... or should I use that? Let me know why as there's still time to make changes
