GoodForNothing Classifieds [Paid] [Deleted]

Great work on your addon.

We use Xencentral Trading system quite a lot and it's a central part of our current trade system. Any chance of an option to use their feedback system with your addons? Happy to pay custom work for this to be included.

Same here. In my opinion core classified features (such as fixing the bump timer and improving the way the location works) should be the main focus. We purchased back in August but haven't been able to go live yet due to bugs and/or incomplete features.

You're doing great work @Mr. Goodie2Shoes, keep it up! :)

You also need to add another option for an "Up front" listing fee.

Users can circumvent the fee by simply selling the item in a PM or by telephone, and the forum gets nothing.
It has already happened to us.

Charge the users a fee up front. Payable at the time of the listing.
Then, if they sell elsewhere, you have your money.

How about deny feedback for who trade in private?

I would like to remove the price feature from "Wanted" classifieds on our site.
When you are looking to buy something, there is no need for a price (unless it is what you are willing to pay).

Is there a way to remove the price option from the classified listing ?
( I looked, but could not find it.)
You could easily do that with css display set to none

Have you experimented with this at all or taken a poll of your members? I don't know many people willing to pay up front for something unless its guaranteed to sell.

Need some help with upgrading to RC6.
I unzipped and successfully uploaded all files under "upload" folder.
But when I tried to upgrade the xml file, I get this message:

Yea, all the upload files get uploaded.

The XML doesn't have to be uploaded unless you're installing from the server.

Having some serious issues here. I've uploaded all the files, after which I got the "classifieds_under_construction" message. So then deleted and reinstalled the xml file.

Now all my classifieds are gone. And missing the "create classifieds" button.

I'm not sure if the addon removes all information when you click the uninstall button for it or not, but let's hope you have a backup.

If the create classified button is missing, you'll need to check permissions, and make sure the breadcrumb is displaying.

@DPF

I can't figure this out. Permissions is set to "allow" and breadcrumb is definitely displaying:

@T Money the error you got is related to the add-on not upgrading properly, a simple code bypass would've fixed everything.
And uninstalling the add-on deletes all data related to the add-on from the database. :(

Having an issue with the custom fields.

I have created a URL field and have ticked the box to have it show on the classified list view, but it's not showing on anything but the classified view/editor pages.

Is there anything I'm missing?

OK so something I noticed, I appear to never receive any notification of an expiring ad. This is with the latest RC.
