XF 1.5 Facebook Share App ID not defined

No idea what this means but the Facebook Share Debugger tool said this about a URL on my forums: (see attached image)

You need to create a FB app and add the ID in the ACP: https://xenforo.com/help/facebook/

That is just a warning though, rather than an error.

@Brogan - okay two issues with this:

1) Its asking me to "continue as Kevin" (my personal facebook account) even though I want to continue as my facebook business page. Business pages are linked to personal accounts on FB just like on Google plus, so what do I do here? I dont want to continue as "Kevin with X friends, birthday X, and age 21+" .... I want to continue as the site page: facebook.com/hairlosstalk/

2) The XF admin asks for a "Secret". No secret is provided by facebook anymore during this setup process. When I tried to "Continue as Kevin" it gave me an error that the "secret" was missing.

Apps can't be owned by pages, only account holders.

I haven't set an FB app up for years but I would be surprised if the secret is no longer required.

Ok. So since secret isn't included anywhere on the new App registration site, what should we do.

Enter a random string in the XF field to see if that works, or contact FB and ask them what happened to the secret.

If you already created an app, you should be able to see it on the Facebook dev site under "apps" in the upper right. If you haven't created one, skip the quick start stuff -- it's not relevant for our use case.

When the app is created, you should have a "dashboard" which will show you the secret.
