I can't find any "fb:XXX" meta tags in XF 2.1.x and the FB app ID doesn't seem to be in the $xf.options collection. When validating pages against FB's validator the lack of the FB App ID throws a warning.

That title should be "FB app id" as in Facebook, not "FP".

Not a regression, as such. It's just a warning and doesn't prevent the Open Graph stuff from working. The purpose of it is some form of analytics which seem of little use. It doesn't affect how your site is displayed on Facebook or elsewhere that uses the tags.
