Not seen that before.

Specifically it seems related to watermarking the image you uploaded.

I would say that if it's working properly now it's safe to ignore but do keep an eye on it.

This seems to be an issue with the ImageMagick version you have installed.

If this was installed by your host you will need to contact them for support.

The error seems to suggest that ImageMagick doesn't actually support any image formats, which is certainly unusual.

To point them in the right direction, this Stack Overflow question may help:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/15279301/imagemagick-supported-formats-no-value

@Chris D

FROM SERVER PEOPLE...

I think that the developer did not check http://mymilitia.com/i.php:

ImageMagick supported formats: ART, AVI, AVS, BMP, BMP2, BMP3, CACHE, CAPTION, CIN, CIP, CLIP, CMYK, CMYKA, CUR, CUT, DCM, DCX, DOT, DPS, DPX, EPT, EPT2, EPT3, FAX, FITS, G3, GIF, GIF87, GRADIENT, GRAY, HISTOGRAM, HTM, HTML, ICO, ICON, INFO, JPEG, JPG, LABEL, M2V, MAP, MAT, MATTE, MIFF, MONO, MPC, MPEG, MPG, MSL, MTV, MVG, NULL, OTB, PALM, PATTERN, PCD, PCDS, PCL, PCT, PCX, PDB, PICT, PJPEG, SHTML

Besides ... the link he provided is regarding ImageMagick installation on Windows while you are hosted on Linux server.

I am not sure if we can get this resolved unless we can recreate the error. You mentioned that some files kept failing and you had to rename them to make them go through. Do you have any image that simply won't get processed by your script ?

I'm fully appreciative of the fact that you're likely running Linux rather than Windows, by my point was to highlight the possible causes of a similar error (regardless of platform).

That being that the images you're trying to use are not supported by the installation of ImageMagick installed on your server.

Your post actually supports this - that list of supported formats is far fewer than I would expect. My PHP supports over 200 formats. Yours only 64.

The most glaringly obvious omission I would say is "PNG" support. I would anticipate this issue is being triggered because your watermark image is probably a PNG image, and your ImageMagick install can't process PNG images, hence the "no decode delegate for this image format" error.

My advice mostly remains the same.

The issue lies with ImageMagick. I would also note that the version of ImageMagick installed and the Imagick module is on the old side. 2012-2013 respectively. This may be part of the issue.

THANK YOU I WILL REPORT ! @Chris D

this is what they said...

I have run ImageMagick's identify on that particular image and it went through:

[root@web10 vault]# identify mediapromo.jpg
mediapromo.jpg JPEG 2550x2728 2550x2728+0+0 DirectClass 9.9e+02kb

So ImageMagick has no issue in processing this file. It must be something else that errors out in your script. Could you check this with your developer or script author ?

@Chris D

don't know why but they wanted me to tell you this...

One more info for your developer ...

That's irrelevant as long as PHP doesn't realise it has PNG support. They said it themselves:

I think that the developer did not check http://mymilitia.com/i.php:

ImageMagick supported formats: ART, AVI, AVS, BMP, BMP2, BMP3, CACHE, CAPTION, CIN, CIP, CLIP, CMYK, CMYKA, CUR, CUT, DCM, DCX, DOT, DPS, DPX, EPT, EPT2, EPT3, FAX, FITS, G3, GIF, GIF87, GRADIENT, GRAY, HISTOGRAM, HTM, HTML, ICO, ICON, INFO, JPEG, JPG, LABEL, M2V, MAP, MAT, MATTE, MIFF, MONO, MPC, MPEG, MPG, MSL, MTV, MVG, NULL, OTB, PALM, PATTERN, PCD, PCDS, PCL, PCT, PCX, PDB, PICT, PJPEG, SHTML

This is firmly down to them to attempt to resolve, there's nothing we can do.

FROM SERVER PEOPLE:
I was mislead by a reply from your developer who said that png is not supported on our server, which is not the case as you can add this watermark to other images.

Can you ask him to review the provided information and let us both know why would that media promo image fail ?

Switched watermark to a jpg and tried to upload the media promo file and got a new error...
