As designed Editor/post content not posted still shows even when deleted

Not sure how to title this so I apologise.

I was going to reply to this thread - Requiring Paid Access to our Community but decided not to and deleted the content of my post before I did post it. When I go back to the thread after viewing other sections, some of the content I wrote still shows in the reply box.

I'll see if it goes once i've posted this. I'm using the latest version of Google Chrome on PC.

EDIT - My content still shows in the reply box even though i've deleted it and made a new post.

You're seeing a saved draft. You can choose the "delete draft" option in the "save" menu on the editor.

I normally just remove the content of my post with the delete or cut key and it works. Never had to use the delete draft option before

If you don't delete the content before the draft is saved automatically (time configurable in the ACP), you will need to use the delete draft option to remove it, unless the store time limit has expired.
