Browser issue Editor / cursor

not sure if this is a Firefox Browser issue... or if this can be fixed ?

I tested this here:
http://xenforo.com/community/threads/test.54055/

Re-produce:
1)
Drag & Drop an image into the editor

2)
then click into the editor at the very top.
the cursor is "blinking" in the very first line within the editor.

3)
then write some text.

Issue:
the text you are writing is not showing in the very first line (where the cursor was blinking before you started writing your text), but the text is showing up below the image.

It is somehow similar to this one:

Using Win8 / Firefox 21.0

Can not confirm this (sorry).

Windows 8 Pro - 64 bit
Firefox 22 current version and Firefox 23 beta

1)
you do not click into the "Editor". The "Editor" is faded.

2)
go to this page and "Drag & Drop" the large image into the faded "XF-Editor":

3)
Now click into the faded "Editor" where it says "Write your reply" (the very first line in the Editor).
Make sure the cursor is blinking in the very first line within the "Editor" (atop the image).

4)
Now write some text.

another thing:

before you "submit" the Forum post, click onto the image.
This will open a pop-up window. Is this intentional ?

Now go and change the URL in that pop-up to some other URL like e.g. http://yahoo.com

Submit this post now via clicking "Post Reply"-button.

Now click onto the image. You will see the URL did not change....... and the image is not displayed anymore.

Ah, you're talking about drag and drop from another site (not the computer).

I did not gather that from your original post, which made it sound as though you were doing this from your computer. Which worked fine for me (thus why I couldn't confirm it earlier)

I can confirm this now, but I'd call this a browser issue if anything.

This appears to be due to Firefox's drag-drop-paste behaviour, and there seems very little we can do about it I'm afraid.

thanks for checking!

strange that I did not receive an "Alert" regarding your reply.... although I am "watching" this thread. But I guess that is default behaviour.
Can you do anything regarding this ?
