I'm really loving this add-on, the slider and featured polls have been really popular on my community.

Feature request:
I notice you can set a background image for featured blocks.

How feasible would it be to extend this to allow background images for featured polls?

I have set a background image that shows up on every featured poll that appears on my front page like so:


Using this CSS works but naturally affects all featured polls:

}

Would be really cool if there was a way to have a different image for each different featured poll.

I'd be willing to pay for this extension if it's a feasible feature.

Although there is no automated way of doing it, I deliberately placed the poll block within the main li for the featured thread so the thread id can be utilised for that purpose.

What i am missing is a preview when update a featured thread.
Till now i can make changes there and when i save it throw me back to the original thread.
From there i must go back to featured thread page to see the result and if i don`t like the result i have to go the same way like before.

There's no preview for initially featuring a thread either, so what's the difference between that and updating a featured thread?

Previews are not that useful in XF as attachments are not rendered as images but just placeholder text, therefore I didn't bother adding the functionality as it's not an actual or accurate depiction of the layout.

Assume i have 50 threads on this page and i want to edit all of them so is boring to go always the long way.

Well you're the one asking for it to be changed.

I'm pointing out that other than the thread there isn't an obvious page to reload, depending on which options and configuration is set up.

Hence why it reloads the thread.

I also don`t know if this possible at all. Like if this page is enabled go back to there, else go back to original.

It's possible but it's the definition of bloat.

In order to please everyone and account for all set -ups it would be if this do that, otherwise if this do that, otherwise if this that and the other do that...

Hence why it reloads the thread.

Either with a preview, i don`t care about pictures if they are not rendered, or with the option to change the route after saving.
