this is really sad, but do you know of any script in the internet who is not pirated?
this a part of the internet chaos, articles , softwares, movies and pictures are copied everyday, its a crime, but this should not stop creativity.
its a shame some people have no respect of copyrights, but why would XF users pay the price for this?

As I don't know who pirated it, I won't waste my time and effort working on something I know is going to be distributed on the pirate sites.

As I said, blame whoever pirated it - they alone are responsible for bringing development of this add-on to an end.

Blame whichever scummy ******* pirated it.

I hope they're pleased with themselves.

They probably are, since they successfully ruined it for everyone else it seems. If I knew one person could kill this add-on then I'd probably not have paid the near $50 USD each for the three licenses I have.

Are you going to label this as Unmaintained? Stop selling it? Or continue taking people's money?

Who said it wasn't going to be maintained?

The add-on is currently bug free and clearly still being supported. The product works so there doesn't seem any reason to stop selling it.

I guess I interpreted it wrong. It appeared to me as if he was done with the add-on completely. If I am wrong, then obviously my post does not stand. However, I am still shocked that one person can kill development of this add-on.

Oh don't worry, I'm bullying Brogan to death over letting the pirates win, but, truthfully, is there much more that can be added to the add-on? I think the development has probably drawn to a natural conclusion if anything, even without the pirate issue.

But yeah, the add-on isn't dead in terms of the fact that we've all got a product that works beautifully, and even just earlier this evening Paul was giving support a few posts back. I also believe there's some support happening at the support site too which may make it seem like things are a bit quieter in this thread.

I don't think we need to worry :)

*fingers crossed* He reconsiders after dust settles a bit. I don't think there is not one good add-on out there that wasn't pirated. In the event he does choose to no longer continue it, it being the #1 add-on.. I hope it is passed on to someone to continue it.

Guys calm down.

No one is deleting anything or being thrown under a bus.

Brogan has helped with support queries already this evening and the piracy thing isn't new so it's not like he's only just decided to pause development for a bit.

Maybe Brogan can advise on a change to make in the template to fix that issue.

I would need to make a change for that but it's unlikely to happen as development of this add-on has now come to a halt due to it being pirated.

I think everyone is calm. We just want answers. His posts contradict what you are saying. He specifically said it would require an update and he would not be doing that. I know you know him better than us but unfortunately he isn't responding and his last posts seem to indicate the opposite of what you just said. Maybe its better left for him to respond to?

If anything, Brogan caused this by making statements such as this and then, I assume, going to sleep to leave others to reply with questions. I mean, what else did he expect. He knows how forums work.

I'm not going to get involved in this discussion, but I just wanted to mention that his day's just starting and he was likely in bed when a lot of these replies took place.

I realize that. He should expect exactly what has happened to happen though. I get he is frustrated but it is what it is.

Somehow I completely oversaw that part of your reply, so thanks! However, he's got a daughter who has school, so I don't think his intentions were to leave others to reply, but rather get sufficient sleep to take his daughter to school.
