This is a totally awesome addition to this addon, thanks @Daniel Hood
Are you using Post Ratings as well? If so, there's a bit of a conflict in the display. See this post and the next few after it: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/conversation-essentials-paid.27874/page-46#post-969678Is a liked message in a conversation indicated as such in any way. Our members have just noticed that liked messages have no indication that they have been liked.
I'm running 1.9 of Conversation Essentials which I believe should have fixed it. It hasn't.Are you using Post Ratings as well? If so, there's a bit of a conflict in the display. It's fairly simple - should look like this:

Where do you get this addon please?I'm also running Post Ratings, ConvEss 1.9 and the ConvEss compatibility add-on
The compatibility add-on? It's in the download with the latest version of ConvEss. It's only an XML - no additional files to upload - you just run the XML after installing ConvEss the usual way (upload the files and run the ConvEss XML). If you use an autoinstaller it will probably miss the extra XML file.Where do you get this addon please?
Conversation Essentials 1.9.0 introduced a second xml file. The new xml file is only meant for people that run the Post Ratings add-on as well.
It installs a second add-on which is unlikely to ever change, it's just meant to separate the functionality for this integraiton from the rest of the main add-on. You have to install both add-ons separately.
The post ratings xml file cannot be run as a conversation essentials upgrade.
OK thanks, well no use to me as my licence expired. The compatibility add-on? It's in the download with the latest version of ConvEss.
Yeah, that's renewable.OK thanks, well no use to me as my licence expired.
Nobody's license was expired before 1.9.0 came out. You should still be able to download it, even if it has expired since then, assuming you ever got a new license after I took over Syndol's add-ons.
Perfect, thank you. I had been trying to change the execution order of the Conversation Essentials modifications, not the compatibility modification.Strange - I'm also running Post Ratings, ConvEss 1.9 and the ConvEss - Post Ratings compatibility add-on - just like you. But mine works.
Take a look at your Template Modifications > Conversation Essentials - Post Ratings Compatibility > message template and see what the execution order is. Here's mine:

When I took the add ons over from syndol did you ever renew/get a new one through me? What is your account on xenmods. I was offering discounted licenses for people that had a license through syndol. If you had it for over a year (which you obviously have now) it would be roughly a 50% discount. Private message me if you would like to do that. How would I download it without paying $45.00 - that seems to be the only option I have.
- Ability to copy conversation messages to a thread.
- Requires a user permission
- All posts that are being created go into the moderation queue (prevents abuse and revealing personal details)
- If you use the Post Ratings add-on, upload the compatibility zip if you haven't already manually changed the execution order of the template modifications.
- Fixed a security issue that allowed users to delete prefixes that weren't theirs.
- Fixed an issue with the new post ratings integration xml
Just install the second xml file. I've included an information text file. I separated the template modifications from the main add-on because a) not everyone needs them, b) they kept getting messed up, c) they should never change (aside from an instance like this where I had to increase the execution orders) so they don't need to keep being updated. Can someone clarify something for me: the "compatibility" addon discussed here w/r to post ratings, is that a separate addon or is that now included in Conversation Essentials? I run both and I'm trying to figure out what I need to do, if anything. Do I just upgrade to 1.10.1 and it's done, or is there then something that I have to perform in order to make the two play nice? I didn't know they were not playing nice.
