Ok, to make everyone happy I have added 2 new permissions:

1. View whispers (you can see who sent the message and recipients but not the message)
2. Read whispers (you can see everything)

Improvements

Whisper recipients now are being displayed in archive too just like in the message list.

Now when you click on the link, image, media, quote, spoiler, code and smilies button or when you re-enable the chat from the front-end, the action will display the XF loading bar.

By request I have added two new permissions that will allow you to view and/or read others whispers. For this I have added a new CSS class called: .siropuChatWhisperPolice {} so you can style it to stand out from the rest....

Is there any kind of "IM" chat? My members mainly use that, but are requesting a more "flexible" interface.

Certainly. My users prefer that each chat is in its own private "window", 1-on-1 like a private Facebook conversation. No one uses the regular "public" chatrooms on my site....

It's possible to make the opening of smilies exactly similar as XenForo in discussions and conversations? I'm talking about the animation when you click on the smilies button, you know? On your chat, there is not an animation when we open the smileys.

@Siropu is there any way to make the delete option a bit more accessible on mobile? The tiny little x is a real ***** to try and hit with my fat fingers.

@Rambro giving it a bigger hit box for the link (setting the link's width/height) or simply increasing the size of the font may be sufficient, imo
